I understand this — not just professionally, but personally.

I grew up around addiction.

I know what it’s like to live in that environment…
the tension, the unpredictability, the emotional impact it leaves on families and children.

I drank to numb and escape my emotions every day for 25 years.

I then found myself stuck in the cycle,

right alongside my husband.

With a combined weekly alcohol cost of over $700,

both depressed and anxious, I knew it had to stop.

I tried to quit.
I tried to control it.

I tried to control him.
I made all the promises.

And nothing changed.

Until I stopped focusing on the surface…

and started understanding what was actually driving it underneath.

When I reprogrammed my own beliefs, my own patterns —
my responses, my boundaries, my coping tools & most importantly built capacity and regulation in my nervous system…

Everything shifted.

And that’s what led me to this work.

Now, my life's purpose is helping others break free from the cycle.
